The course syllabus for the Summer II 2016 semester is available at the link below. This is a tentative syllabus subject to change, but will likely be very similar to that available at the link below.
The textbook and course structure have changed significantly from prior semesters before Summer II 2015. The new required textbook is Essentials of Ecology, 2015, 7th edition by G. Tyler Miller Jr. and S. Spoolman. You will NOT be able to use the previous textbook (Elements of Ecology, by T. M. Smith and R. L. Smith.) for this course in the future.
If you purchase a hardcopy text from an online vendor or from the publisher directly to save money, be certain you ship your text so it arrives before the course begins so you don’t get behind in your reading assignments.
